Questions

Pricing & Scheduling
How much does junk removal cost?
Pricing is based on volume — how much space your items take up in our truck — and the type of materials. We provide a firm, all-inclusive price on-site before we start a single item. No hidden fees for stairs, extra weight, or disposal. What we quote is what you pay.
Do you offer same-day junk removal?
Yes — we have same-day availability most days throughout St. Charles County. Call 636-459-9866 early in the morning for the best chance at same-day service. All appointments come with two-hour arrival windows and a call-ahead.
Is the on-site quote free?
Yes, completely free and zero obligation. We come out, assess what needs to be removed, and give you a firm all-inclusive price. If the price doesn't work for you, you owe us nothing. We don't charge a fee just for showing up.
Can I get a quote over the phone?
We can give you a rough estimate over the phone based on what you describe. For the firm, guaranteed price, we prefer to see the items in person — it ensures the price we give you is accurate and won't change. Most phone estimates are close to the final number.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is collected at the end of the job, after everything is loaded and you're satisfied with the work.
What We Remove
What items do you remove?
We remove almost everything: furniture, mattresses, appliances, hot tubs, exercise equipment, sheds, garage contents, estate items, storage unit contents, construction debris, and general household junk. If it's on your property and you need it gone, call us and we'll let you know.
What items can't you remove?
We cannot remove hazardous materials including paint, motor oil, propane tanks, chemicals, pesticides, asbestos-containing materials, or medical waste. These require specialized hazardous waste disposal services. We're happy to point you in the right direction for these items.
Can you remove a hot tub?
Yes — hot tub removal is one of our specialties. We handle everything: draining, disconnecting the electrical, dismantling, and hauling away completely — all while protecting your deck and landscaping. We take hot tub jobs that other companies turn down.
Do you remove construction debris?
Yes. We remove drywall, lumber, tile, roofing material, flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, concrete blocks, and most other renovation and construction debris. No dumpster rental required — we haul it all in one visit.
Will you remove items from a hoarder home?
Yes. We handle challenging cleanouts with professionalism and complete discretion. We don't judge — we just help. If the situation involves biohazard materials, we'll let you know upfront if specialized cleaning is needed before or after our removal work.
Service Standards
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully licensed to operate in Missouri and carry comprehensive liability insurance on every job. Your property is protected from the moment our crew arrives on-site.
Do I need to be home during the removal?
For the initial walkthrough and quote approval, yes — someone needs to be present to review the quote and approve it before we start. After that, you don't need to stay for the entire job if you're comfortable leaving us to work.
Do you clean up after the job?
Yes — always. We sweep out the space and remove every scrap before we leave. We consider the job unfinished until the area is clean. This is standard on every Junk Removal Outpost job, not an add-on.
How do you handle estate cleanouts?
With compassion and professionalism. Estate cleanouts are one of our most common services, and we understand that many clients are going through a difficult time. We work at your pace, treat every item respectfully, and coordinate easily with estate attorneys, real estate agents, and family members as needed.
Recycling & Donation
Do you donate usable items?
Yes. Furniture, appliances, and household items in good condition are donated to local organizations and charities whenever possible. We work with organizations in St. Charles County that can put these items to good use.
Do you recycle metals and electronics?
Yes. Metals, electronics, and appliances are sorted and recycled responsibly. We're committed to diverting as much as possible from landfills and follow EPA guidelines for appliance disposal including proper refrigerant handling.
What happens to all the junk you haul away?
Items are sorted at our facility: reusable items go to donation partners, recyclable materials (metals, electronics, appliances) go to recyclers, and the remainder is responsibly disposed of at licensed disposal facilities in accordance with Missouri regulations.
